Boat rental software for UAE jet ski, kayak and boat rentals
Bookings reach you by WhatsApp, a phone call, a travel site or a walk-up at the beach. Then the same thing has to happen every time: ID, a signed waiver, a deposit, a clock started on the right craft, and a correct price when it comes back. We set the system up around how your team already does that.
Where does a day at the marina or the beach go wrong?
Getting a craft on the water is the easy part. The record around it is where money and time go missing.
ID and waiver on paper, at the water's edge
A family wants three jet skis now. Someone copies passports on a phone, waivers get signed on a clipboard in the wind, and a month later nobody can find the one you need.
Six craft out, one stopwatch
Jet skis on 30 minutes, kayaks on two hours, a boat on half a day. Start times live on a sheet or in one person's head, and a late return gets charged for the slot it was booked for.
Deposits nobody can match
Cash in an envelope, a passport behind the counter, a card held. At closing, staff try to remember which deposit belongs to which rental and what was returned.
Bookings from four directions
A WhatsApp message, a phone call, a travel-site booking and a walk-up all want the 4 pm slot. Each sits in a different place until the customer arrives.
The wind picks up
The sea turns and the afternoon is cancelled. Refunds, credits and rebookings happen in a rush, with no record of who cancelled what.
Engines serviced from memory
Each jet ski and boat engine needs a service after a set number of hours. Nobody counts them, so the service happens when something sounds wrong.
What our boat rental software does
One system for the counter computer, a tablet and your staff phones, from the customer's sign-up to the owner's report.
- A clock on every craft. Each jet ski, kayak, paddleboard, boat or self-drive e-boat has its own price. The screen shows how long every craft has been out and what it costs so far, so a late return is already priced when it comes back.
- ID and waiver before the craft leaves. The customer scans a QR code and signs up on their own phone, in English or Arabic: their details, the waiver with a digital signature and a photo of their ID. It sits on their record, ready for the next visit and for anyone who asks to see it.
- Deposits set up the way you take them. Cash, card or an ID held at the counter: tell us how you do it, and we set it up that way so each deposit sits on its rental.
- Invoices in the accounting software you already use. Every payment becomes an invoice there. One payer for a group gets one invoice with a line per craft; friends who pay separately each get their own.
- Owner reports. A daily report every night, plus weekly and monthly reports. The daily report and the invoices add up to the money taken.
- Staff codes and activity logs. Voiding a rental or changing a price needs the staff member's own code, so a weather cancellation or a discount always carries a name.
- A loyalty card and win-back offers. Regulars keep a card in their phone wallet, and customers who stop coming get an offer automatically.
ID and waivers: what do UAE operators need?
Most operators ask for ID and a signed waiver before any craft leaves. In Dubai, the jet ski rule goes further for jet skis: Executive Council Rule No. 3 of 2008, published by the RTA (read 13 October 2026), makes the rental office check that each rider meets the rules, including a minimum age of 14 unless escorted, and fines an office that keeps no record of its users' names and personal data. Rules differ by emirate and by craft, so check the current ones with the authority for your area.
With the package, every customer's ID photo and signed waiver sit on their record, found by name. The waiver text is your own. Have a UAE lawyer review it before use.
How does it handle bookings, weather and engines?
- Bookings by WhatsApp, phone, walk-in and travel sites. The package runs the counter: when the customer arrives, they sign up on their phone and the clock starts on their craft. Bookings made ahead keep arriving where they arrive today, and many operators keep their booking site for online and travel-site sales.
- Weather cancellations. Rentals that cannot go out are voided with the staff member's own code, so the activity log shows who cancelled each one. Refunds and credits for another day are set up the way you already handle them.
- Service hours per engine. Engine hours are not a built feature today. Because the clock already runs on every craft, an engine-hours count and a service reminder are something we set up for you inside the monthly changes.
- Yacht charters. Charters booked days ahead with a crew are a different rhythm from walk-up jet skis. The package can take the payment, waiver and invoice; crew scheduling is not included. Tell us how charters reach you, and we look at it in the free call.
When a new case turns up after go-live, you tell us and we add it. Up to 10 hours of changes a month are included.
What is not included?
Online travel-agency distribution and crew scheduling are not part of the package. If most of your sales come online through travel sites, a booking platform built for that may suit you better: compare FareHarbor and Checkfront with the rental package. Many operators keep one of those for online sales and run the counter on the package.
Where the rental package comes from
The package is the system we built for, and still run at, a bike rental shop in the UAE. There, counter registration (ID, waiver and contact details) went from about 7 minutes to just over 1, 84% faster. Daily rentals went from 20 to 25 a day, the owner's own figure before we started, to 37 a day on average from March to September 2026. The same clock, sign-up and invoices work for any craft rented by time. See bike rental software and the full rental package.
Is it ready for UAE e-invoicing?
Yes. Most businesses must appoint an accredited service provider (ASP) by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027; businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more appoint one by 30 October 2026 and go live on 1 January 2027. We connect your invoicing to the ASP you choose, so every invoice the counter makes reaches it without retyping. We are the integrator, not an ASP. See the list of accredited service providers and how we connect your invoicing to one.
How much does boat rental software cost with us?
We set the rental package up for your business, and it is fully managed by us on a monthly subscription: AED 2,000 setup, then AED 1,250 a month, with a 12-month minimum. There are no per-user fees and no fee on any rental or booking. The monthly fee covers hosting, updates, support and up to 10 hours of changes a month. The fees of third-party software you use, such as your accounting software, wallet cards and WhatsApp, are paid to those providers directly. A larger operation, with many locations or a big fleet, is priced on its size after the free call.

How we set it up
Free 30-minute call
We hear how your counter runs: what you rent, how you price it, and where the day gets messy.
We watch a normal day
We watch your staff run real launches, returns, deposits and the end-of-day count, and write down every exception they handle, so the setup matches your counter.
Set up and trained on site
We load your fleet, prices, staff codes, waiver text and the connection to your accounting software, then train your staff on site on the devices they use.
Run by us every month
We host the system, update it and support it on the monthly subscription, and make up to 10 hours of changes a month. Your team runs the rentals.
Common questions
Yes. Every craft gets its own price, and the clock runs on each one from the moment it leaves. A jet ski at a half-hour rate and a kayak at a daily rate sit on the same screen.

The system needs a connection to save a rental or a payment. When it drops, a banner tells staff straight away that starts and payments will not save until it is back. A router with a SIM card that takes over when the main line fails is the usual fix, and we go through it before go-live. More in our guide to counters without internet.
