FareHarbor vs the Implemnt rental package: which fits a UAE rental business?

Quick answer FareHarbor is online booking software for tours and activities, owned by Booking Holdings and used by 23,000+ businesses. It publishes no price list. Under its terms for providers, it either charges your customers a booking fee on each booking or charges you a commission instead, plus a processing fee for payments, at a rate agreed with you. Our rental package is AED 2,000 setup, then AED 1,250 a month with a 12-month minimum and no fee on any booking: we set it up around how your counter works, connect it to the accounting software you already use, host it, train your staff and make up to 10 hours of changes a month.

FareHarbor is built to sell tours and activities online and through travel sites. The rental package is built for the counter: walk-ins, the clock on every asset, waivers, payments and the end-of-day count. If most of your sales happen online, FareHarbor is made for that. If most happen at your counter, the package is.

Which one should you pick?

What the rental package includes

Not included: the prices of third-party software you already use or choose, such as your accounting software, wallet cards and WhatsApp. We connect to them; their own fees are paid to them directly.

Ready for UAE e-invoicing

UAE e-invoicing reaches most businesses in 2027: appoint an accredited service provider (ASP) by 31 March 2027, then send invoices through it from 1 July 2027. We connect your invoicing to the ASP you choose, so every invoice the counter makes reaches it without retyping, and the ASP sends it in the PINT AE format over the Peppol network. We are the integrator, not an ASP, and the provider's own fees are paid to them. See the list of accredited service providers and our UAE e-invoicing guide.

What does the rental package cost?

AED 2,000 setup, then AED 1,250 a month, with a 12-month minimum and no per-user fees. That covers hosting, updates, support and up to 10 hours of changes every month. A larger operation, with many locations or a big fleet, is priced on its size after the free call.

Common questions

FareHarbor does not publish a price list. Its terms for providers describe two models: a booking fee charged to your customer on each booking, or a commission charged to you instead, plus a processing fee for card payments. The rate is agreed with each business, so ask FareHarbor for yours.

Yes. For tours and activities sold online it is one of the most established systems: 23,000+ businesses, connections to over 250 travel platforms, walk-up sales on its Dock app and an AI agent for guest messages.

Yes. Many operators keep a booking site for online and travel-site sales. In the free call we look at how those bookings reach your counter today, and whether the rental package should run the counter alongside FareHarbor or replace it.

Yes. As part of setup we bring your assets, prices and customer list across, then train your staff on site before you switch. FareHarbor's terms let either side end the agreement with 15 days' written notice.

Anything your counter needs after go-live: a new price rule, a new exception, a report, a field on the sign-up form. Up to 10 hours a month is included. If a month needs more, we quote the extra before we start.

Yes. We connect the rental package to the invoicing or accounting software you already use, so every payment lands there and your accountant keeps working where they are. That software stays on your own plan.

Yes. We connect it to the accredited service provider (ASP) you appoint, so your invoices reach the UAE e-invoicing system without retyping. Most businesses must appoint an ASP by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027. We are the integrator, not the ASP, and the ASP's own fees are paid to them.
