HireHop vs the Implemnt rental package: which fits a UAE rental business?
HireHop is built for a warehouse that preps kit, sends it out with crews and trucks, and invoices the job. The rental package is built for the counter: walk-ins, the clock running on every asset, waivers on the customer's own phone, payments and the end-of-day count, with one monthly price for the shop however many staff use it.
What HireHop does well
From HireHop's own site and pricing page, this is what it does well:
- Built for equipment hire: AV and live events, broadcast, and construction plant and tools, with availability worked out to the minute across one or many depots.
- Fast warehouse scanning by barcode, QR, NFC, RFID or phone camera, with nested kits, pre-packed cases and locks that stop damaged or untested kit going out.
- Crews, transport and projects: labour scheduling, a route planner and a driver app with signatures at handover, and related jobs grouped into one project.
- Quotes, invoices and eSign: branded quote and contract templates, deposits, partial, recurring and batch invoices, Stripe payments and built-in electronic signatures.
- A low way in: a free plan for one user, rolling monthly terms, no setup fee, and connections to Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and more on the paid plan.

Which one should you pick?
- Pick HireHop if you hire out AV, event, broadcast or plant equipment by the job, send it out with crews and trucks, plan work as projects, and have a team ready to set it up and run it yourselves. For a small team it also costs less.
- Pick the rental package if most customers walk up to your counter and rent by the hour or the day, a team runs that counter, and you want one monthly price with the setup and the changes done for you.
What the rental package includes
- Timed rentals with live time and price on the counter computer, a tablet and staff phones.
- Waiver and ID at sign-up, done by the customer on their own phone, in English and Arabic.
- A connection to the invoicing or accounting software you already use.
- A loyalty card in the customer's phone wallet, and win-back offers to customers who stop coming.
- Daily, weekly and monthly owner reports.
- User permissions and activity logs.
- Hosting, updates, support and up to 10 hours of changes a month.
Not included: the prices of third-party software you already use or choose, such as your accounting software, wallet cards and WhatsApp. We connect to them; their own fees are paid to them directly.
Ready for UAE e-invoicing
UAE e-invoicing reaches most businesses in 2027: appoint an accredited service provider (ASP) by 31 March 2027, then send invoices through it from 1 July 2027. We connect your invoicing to the ASP you choose, so every invoice the counter makes reaches it without retyping, and the ASP sends it in the PINT AE format over the Peppol network. We are the integrator, not an ASP, and the provider's own fees are paid to them. See the list of accredited service providers and our UAE e-invoicing guide.
What does the rental package cost?
AED 2,000 setup, then AED 1,250 a month, with a 12-month minimum and no per-user fees. That covers hosting, updates, support and up to 10 hours of changes every month. A larger operation, with many locations or a big fleet, is priced on its size after the free call.

Common questions
HireHop pricing on its own page starts with a free plan for one user, limited to 15 jobs and 3 projects a year. The paid plan is about AED 224 a month for the first user and about AED 112 a month for each extra user, billed in British pounds, with no setup fee. Enterprise is priced by quote, and UK VAT is added only for UK businesses. With 5 users that comes to about AED 8,000 a year.
Yes. It tracks kit to the minute across depots, scans by barcode and RFID, plans crews, transport and projects, builds branded quotes and contracts with eSign, and connects to Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage and other accounting software. For an AV, event or plant hire company that works by the job, it is a strong choice.
For a small team, yes. With 5 users HireHop costs about AED 8,000 a year, against AED 17,000 for the rental package in year one and AED 15,000 a year after that. Each extra HireHop user adds about AED 1,340 a year and ours has no per-user fees, so the two meet at about 12 users in year one and 11 users from year two. The bigger difference is who does the work: with HireHop your team sets it up and runs it; with the rental package we set it up around your counter, host it, train your staff on site and make the changes.
Yes. As part of setup we bring your assets, prices and customer list across, then train your staff on site before you switch.
Anything your counter needs after go-live: a new price rule, a new exception, a report, a field on the sign-up form. Up to 10 hours a month is included. If a month needs more, we quote the extra before we start.
Yes. We connect the rental package to the invoicing or accounting software you already use, so every payment lands there and your accountant keeps working where they are. That software stays on your own plan.
Yes. We connect it to the accredited service provider (ASP) you appoint, so your invoices reach the UAE e-invoicing system without retyping. Most businesses must appoint an ASP by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027. We are the integrator, not the ASP, and the ASP's own fees are paid to them.
Yes, a 12-month minimum. Setup is AED 2,000, then AED 1,250 a month. A larger operation, with many locations or a big fleet, is priced on its size, and we tell you the number after the free call.
