Salon software in the UAE: 14 products compared on published prices (2026)
Every salon owner we have talked to has the same three tabs open: a booking app, a POS, and WhatsApp. The question is which one to pay for, and what it really costs once staff and locations are added. So we checked the whole field on one day.
If you already run a salon on tools you intend to keep, our page on salon management systems built around what you already use covers the other route. This post is the market comparison.
How this list was checked
Every product page was fetched on September 3, 2026. We only quote a price where the vendor publishes one on its own site, in the currency it publishes, with a link to that page. Where a page shows tier names but no figures, we say so instead of borrowing a number from a review site. Company locations come from the vendor's own contact, pricing or careers pages. Two products geo-serve their pricing (Fresha showed a different currency the day before), so figures can differ from what you see in the UAE; the AED read is the one recorded. We are not ranking anyone. The list is grouped into products built in the Gulf and international products sold into the UAE, alphabetical inside each group.
Which salon software is built in the Gulf?
Belliata / Zolmi. One product from Umov Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw; zolmi.ae is its AED-priced UAE face and lists Dubai as a location. Plans for three staff start from AED 76 a month billed annually, priced per staff member through a calculator. Bookings, POS, inventory, commissions and an online booking page are all described; reminders are SMS and email, with WhatsApp not mentioned. Cancel anytime, 14-day trial. Best for a small salon that wants AED pricing and a per-staff number it can read off a slider.
CloudMe Salon POS. CloudMe Software Solution, Dubai, sold in the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. Its salon POS page describes bookings, multi-branch calendars, POS with split payments, SMS or WhatsApp reminders, stylist commissions, inventory with expiry and batch tracking, and UAE-ready VAT accounting. No price is published. Best for a multi-branch salon that wants a Dubai vendor and VAT accounting in the same product.
Glamera. Riyadh. Its pricing page publishes Foundation at 125 SAR a month for 3 users, Basic at 225 SAR for 10 and Advanced at 325 SAR for 20, plus 10 SAR per extra employee. Employee management, inventory and advanced reports start at Basic; the online booking website is a paid add-on. Arabic-native. We found no UAE office on its pages. Best for an Arabic-first salon that is fine with SAR billing.
KeynesPOS. Keynes IT Solutions LLC, Oxford Tower, Dubai. Its price list says AED 3,000 per branch per year with unlimited team members, and states the model plainly: per location, not per user. Appointments with reminders, POS, client database, inventory, gift cards, memberships and VAT-ready invoices are all in. WhatsApp is not named. Best for a salon with many staff on one or two locations, where per-seat products get expensive.
Salonaty. An Arabic product targeting Saudi, the UAE and Kuwait, developed by Ultra Cloud for IT. The site renders no pricing to a reader and lists invoicing, online booking, CRM, staff and inventory at the headline level only. Everything else would need a call. Best for an Arabic-only team, with every claim verified before paying.
WAJ. Built in Dubai (In5, Dubai Internet City) and Amman. Its pricing page publishes Starter at 38 dollars a location a month, Growth at 75 and Business at 121, with a WhatsApp and SMS add-on at 15 dollars a location plus Meta's message fees, and an e-invoicing add-on that names the FTA. Full right-to-left Arabic. No booking commission. Best for a salon that wants FTA e-invoicing and Arabic from a team it can call in Dubai.
Which international products are sold into the UAE?
Booksy Biz. One plan at 29.99 dollars a month plus tax, and 20 dollars a month for each extra team member, on its pricing page. Unlimited bookings, free SMS reminders, 2,000 marketing texts a month, forms, waitlists and no-show protection. We could not find a UAE sales surface: the UAE path served a US homepage and the pricing page lists no UAE locale. Best for a solo stylist comfortable with a US product and USD billing.
Fresha. Fresha.com SV Ltd, with a UAE office on its careers page. Its pricing page served AED on the day we checked: a broad free tier (calendar, POS, inventory, forms, marketing tools), then Independent at AED 149.95 a month for one bookable team member and custom rates for teams. On top of the subscription: a 50 percent one-time commission on new clients who book through the marketplace (minimum AED 20), 4.90 percent plus AED 0.75 on online payments, and metered messages after 20 free a month (AED 0.15 per text, AED 0.15 to 0.30 per WhatsApp). No contract, 7-day trial. Best for a salon that wants the marketplace's new clients and has done the commission maths.
MioSalon. Waffor, Inc., with Indian contact numbers and a UAE option in its enquiry form. Its pricing page names Standard and Premium plans but renders no figures. Appointments, POS, incentive and commission management, inventory with barcodes and an online booking mini-site are described, with HyperPay and Stripe as payment integrations. Best for a salon that wants commissions and inventory and is willing to ask for the price.
Phorest. Ireland, with a dedicated UAE site and UAE testimonials from Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Every plan on phorest.com/ae is quote only. Unlimited staff and devices on every plan, VAT auto-applied at the POS, SMS and email reminders, stock management. Best for a salon of three or more staff that wants unlimited seats and a UAE sales contact.
Salonist. No legal entity or address published, with customers named in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Qatar and Bahrain. Its pricing page publishes a free marketplace tier, then Essential at AED 2,900 a year, Advance at AED 4,180 and Expert at AED 6,580, with unlimited staff on every plan including the free one. Essential adds POS, reminders, commissions and retail; unlimited WhatsApp and SMS start at Advance. Arabic runs right-to-left across calendar, POS and receipts, and the named gateways are Tap, Ziina, Network, UPayments, Tabby and Tamara. Best for a salon that wants Arabic, Gulf payment methods and no per-seat pricing, and does not mind an unnamed vendor.
Shortcuts. Brisbane, Australia. Plans are customised per business on its Fusion page, no figures. Regions covered are Australia, New Zealand, North America and the UK. Not a UAE buy on the evidence we found.
Vagaro. US. 30 dollars a month per bookable calendar on its pricing page, with a first-six-months rate of 23.99. Unlimited reminders, online booking, inventory; payments through a US bank. No UAE, Arabic or Middle East mention anywhere on the page. Not a UAE buy on the evidence we found.
Zenoti. Bellevue, US, with a Dubai office in Al Shatha Tower. Its pricing page publishes nothing: quote and demo only, with multi-location pricing customised to the footprint. Best for a spa group or chain that will negotiate an enterprise contract.

How do you choose salon software in the UAE?
Read the pricing unit before the price
The same salon costs very different money on a per-staff product and a per-location one. Six chairs on a per-bookable-member plan is six subscriptions; on KeynesPOS or Salonist it is one. The reverse holds for a single-chair salon, where the free tiers from Fresha and Salonist are hard to beat.
Count the fees that are not the subscription
Fresha's 50 percent one-time commission on marketplace new clients and its 4.90 percent processing fee can outweigh the AED 149.95 subscription for a busy salon. WAJ's WhatsApp add-on carries Meta's message fees on top. Ask for last month's total bill from a salon that already uses the product.
Check WhatsApp reminders on the page, not in the sales call
UAE customers live on WhatsApp, and only a few products state it: CloudMe, WAJ as an add-on, Fresha as a metered message, Salonist from its Advance tier. SMS reminders are the default for most of the others.
Ask about VAT and Arabic in writing
KeynesPOS, CloudMe, WAJ and Phorest state VAT handling on their pages; Salonist, WAJ, Glamera and Salonaty state Arabic. If a product claims either only on a call, get it in writing before signing.
Decide whether you are buying a product or connecting the ones you have
A product on this list is the right answer for a salon that will move its bookings, checkout and reminders into it. When the salon already has a POS it likes, a booking app the customers know and WhatsApp for everything else, the cost is usually the retyping between them, and no product on this list fixes that. That is the case where a system built around the existing tools wins, which is what we build: projects start at 7,000 AED, most land between 10,000 and 35,000 AED, one time.
Frequently asked questions
Published prices on this list run from AED 76 a month for three staff (Zolmi, billed annually) to AED 3,000 per branch per year (KeynesPOS) and AED 2,900 to 6,580 a year for Salonist's tiers. Fresha's paid tier is AED 149.95 a month per bookable team member, with usage fees on top. Six of the fourteen products publish no price at all and quote per salon. A custom-built system from us starts at 7,000 AED one time, with most projects landing between 10,000 and 35,000 AED.
On the vendor pages we checked, WhatsApp reminders are stated by CloudMe Salon POS, by WAJ as a paid add-on at 15 dollars a location a month with Meta's message fees on top, and by Fresha as a metered message at AED 0.15 to 0.30 each after 20 free a month. Salonist includes unlimited WhatsApp and SMS from its Advance tier. Most of the others say SMS and email only, or do not name the channel.
Less often than people assume. KeynesPOS prices per branch with unlimited staff, Salonist and Phorest give unlimited staff on every plan, and WAJ prices per location. Fresha, Zolmi and Vagaro price per bookable staff member, and Booksy adds 20 dollars for each extra team member. Read the unit before comparing two prices.
VAT is stated on-page by KeynesPOS (VAT-ready invoices and reports), CloudMe (UAE-ready tax accounting), WAJ (an e-invoicing add-on naming the FTA) and Phorest (auto-apply and record VAT); Fresha shows a 5 percent tax line on its pricing. Arabic interfaces are stated by Salonist (right-to-left across calendar, POS and receipts), WAJ, Glamera and Salonaty. The others either do not mention it or are English only.
Buy one if a product on this list covers your bookings, checkout and reminders as they are today; the free and low tiers are hard to beat for a single-chair salon. Have a system built when the salon already runs on tools it will keep (a POS, WhatsApp, a spreadsheet) and the cost is the retyping between them, or when a product's per-staff or per-location price grows faster than the business. We build that kind of system, connected to what you already use, and we say so on the salon page.
